About Me
Stephanie Witt
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Idaho and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachussetts. I obtained my Master’s degree in mental health counseling from Idaho State University in 2019. I studied psychology and human development at Washington State University, and have additional education in the field of addictions counseling. I’ve always wanted to understand people and how our brain works, and to assist people by helping them to understand themselves better. I love being a counselor and feel like my life experiences have prepared me to be understanding, have a wise perspective, and convey a feeling of hope through fostering resilience. My favorite things include my animals, hiking, camping and being in the outdoors, traveling, exploring new places and learning new things, and personal growth through continually improving my physical and mental health, spirituality, and the quality of connections with self and with others.
I am EMDR certified and trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy; in addition I utilize an eclectic variety of therapeutic interventions including existential therapy (finding meaning and purpose), cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic therapies, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)
